Parents who seek this sacrament for their infants/young children should be registered and regular practicing members of Saint Philip for a minimum of three months.
God parents should be active Catholics.
We offer a Baptismal Preparation session where time and dates are arranged and details discussed. Please contact the parish office 503-623-2440 for more details
First Holy Communion ceremonies are usually in May. Please note that this is a 2 year process and regular religious education attendance is required. To participate in First Communion preparation class, children must be enrolled in Religious Education the previous year.

Notification of the parish is required six months in advance of the planned date.
One of the couple should be an active and registered parishioner who attends Mass on a regular basis and participates in parish activities.
